Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and advocate for animal rights in America. She has been acclaimed by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and brought up in an artistic family. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant before moving on to acting and modeling. MacGraw was awarded her Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was selected for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. Within three years, she had been voted as the top female box office participant in the entire world. Handprints, signatures and footprints were immortalized in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
