Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada, and is now American. She has released over 20 albums of studio work. DiFranco's music is classified as folk, alternative and rock but she also draws influences of jazz and hip-hop. Ani Difranco is believed to be a feminist hero and a Grammy award winner. In the beginning, as one of the first female artists in the 1990s, DiFranco created her record label. The parents of DiFranco, Elizabeth (Ross), a former student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Dante Americo DiFranco met each other while they were both attending. Her mother hails from Montreal and her father is of Italian heritage. The song by Ani, 32 Flavors was composed by her and is performed by Ani. This track is on her sixth studio album Not a Pretty Girl released in 1995. The song is featured on the movie soundtrack of the 1999 Canadian romance film Better Than Chocolate. In 2013, DiFranco apologised after it was announced that she would be hosting the three-day event at an old Louisiana plantation for slaves. A lot of people (including us) weren't affected by her decision to cancel. DiFranco released an apology a couple of weeks later. The singer is well-known for her Little Folksinger music, but she's collaborated with many different genres and artists including Pete Seeger to Chuck D. The singer lives in New Orleans. Ani is Kristen Ford. In just 14 months, DiFranco was already writing her own lyrics. They continued to be performed at coffee houses and bars in her teens. DiFranco went to Buffalo State College after graduating at 16 from Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. This is the single from 1972 by American pop band Looking Glass. Elliot Lurie wrote the song. He is also the singer and guitarist of Looking Glass.
