Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada, and is now American. She has released over 20 albums of studio work. DiFranco's music is classified as folk, alternative and rock but she also draws influences of jazz and hip-hop. Ani Difranco is believed to be a feminist hero and a Grammy award winner. In the beginning, as one of the first female artists in the 1990s, DiFranco created her record label.
