Coleman was born in the Lancashire town of Blackpool. Coleman attended Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head girl and received straight As on her A-levels. Discussing her role on Emmerdale Coleman admitted that she regretted that she did not have a traditional university education. Coleman participated in a club known as In Yer Space at her school. They was in the stage production Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. In addition to receiving a prize for her acting, the play it performed attracted a lot of attention. Coleman received the role as Jasmine Thomas while she was auditioning at drama schools. The audition took place in 2005. Coleman received two nominations for Awards in 2007. She was named The Best Newcomer in the British Soap Awards and Most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. The award was presented to her for Best Actress, Sexiest Woman and for the Best Dramatic Performance at the British Soap Awards 2009. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. On 21 March 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat announced at a press event that Coleman would play the Doctor's companion alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat chose her for the role as she performed most effectively with Smith and could talk faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. The former even earned her two 'Daytime Emmy' nominations and gave her a chance to experiment with her talents in music. Eva isn't just acting, but she's also a businesswoman and philanthropist. She is a thrice-married woman and has a daughter with her second husband.
