The athlete that has earned a name for herself within American society. She's among only six females in the history of sports to have won the five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. She's won the title of 82 World Cup victories in total. The top skier on the planet and the top American racer in the sport of skiing has announced her retirement following this year's World Championship in Sweden. The four-time World Cup overall champion decided to step down following a string of illnesses. She announced her retirement on social media. This week, I'll be racing in my last races to end my career in the Downhill World Championships as also the SG World Championships held in Re Sweden.
